Fowler and Hammer, Inc. is a subcontractor to Kraus Anderson for this project, we are performing the concrete, masonry, steel erection, and rough carpentry.  The project is a new inpatient behavioral health two-story building separate from the Hospital. The building will be built to allow Gundersen Lutheran to meet future growth needs. In addition, patients and visitors will benefit from a welcoming and inviting space.

  • The new space will provide 34 private inpatient rooms.
  • Provide additional beds for adolescent patients.
  • Allow for a separate area for our vulnerable geriatric behavioral health patients.
  • Improve safety for patients, visitors and staff, and maximize efficiency.
  • Be designed to maximize natural light and access to green space, including outdoor courtyards for patients and visitors.
