Safety

Fowler and Hammer is committed to creating a safe work site for our employees, subcontractors, clients, and general public on all of our construction projects.

  • Pre-Planning: The safety director, project managers, superintendents and subcontractors are all involved in the pre-planning process before construction begins as well as during the construction process.
  • Training: Fowler and Hammer continually trains its employees through regular toolbox talks, on-site training sessions provided by the Associated General Contractors of Wisconsin, a weekly employee newsletter, and formal classroom training.   We have many in-house training capabilities including:  OSHA 10 Hour, OSHA 30 Hour, etc.
  • Safety Team: We have an employee led safety team comprised of 10 employees, representing all trades, who meet monthly to discuss important safety issues and to give/receive feedback from the field.
  • Safety Director: Fowler and Hammer employs a full-time Safety Director, who oversees all safety issues throughout the company.
  • Award Winning Safety: AGC 2009 Safety Excellence Award
  • Company Safety Manual: Written safety manual (present on all jobsites)
