| The Pope John Paul II Memorial Garden is located at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary in Winona, MN. This Memorial Garden is the vision of Fr. Jim Steffes, Rector of the Seminary. The Stations of the Cross includes sixteen hand-crafted bronze plaques affixed to sixteen stone piers weighing over one ton each. These stations are placed around an exposed aggregate plaza with cobble stone walkways connecting them. In the center is a large, five foot tall, rough-cut bolder with a water fountain rising out of the stone. |
