May 10, 2004 - Shrine Groundbreaking

“ Built in traditional cruciform design with its stained-glass windows celebrating the life of the Blessed Mother, the church will seat approximately 450 people. Pilgrims will be able to attend Holy Mass, participate in other devotions or spend time in personal prayer."

The Groundbreaking Ceremony for the heart of the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Shrine Church, is May 13th at 9 a.m. The Shrine Church will sit atop the bluff overlooking the valley.
