Project Description:
This clinic, lab, reception/lobby expansion is a two-story addition of approximately 30,000 SF of new and remodeled space, plus a 3000 SF penthouse. The structure is steel with composite slab floors (concrete). The exterior walls are metal stud with brick veneer, stone and precast, aluminum windows. The interior construction is metal studs/sheetrock, casework, acoustical ceilings, carpet, and wood grained sheet vinyl flooring. In addition there will be a 1 – 2 story elevator. The main purpose of this project is to accommodate growth of patient population for clinic and lab services. There will be approximately 7,500 sf of shell space left on 1st floor for a future ER/Urgent care department (Phase 2 of the project which is currently under fund raising) which will also include a 2 stall Ambulance Garage with decontamination capabilities.
Lastly, the project also includes the relocation and construction of a larger Helipad to support Air Transported patients.
